There are many apps and ways to automate your files once they are digital and online.
​
Here are 2 that we tried that will help you automate your day.

There are a number of similar apps. on the market. These 2 have a free option that allow you to try.

With automation you can get an email or text messages when a cycle is finished.
You can instantly reformat your text file as a PDF.
Need time to empty and repack your unit after a cycle? Have a calendar invite automatically sent to your coworkers to let them know you will be busy for the next 15 minutes.

Send a teams message or transfer your files to Google Drive.

There are thousands of apps that will aid in your daily work flow.
Zapier has an easy setup interface. It walks you through the setup and authorization process.

In our test we chose to have an email sent.
​
It allows full customization. You to add a subject and body of your choice. You may choose to send the file as an attachment. Zappier claims there are over 5000 apps that they have integrated with their platform.

IFTTT has a similar interface to Zapier although slightly less refined. They offer equal customization and options.
IFTTT has unlimited number of times that each applet (IFTTT, name for automation tasks) will run. They claim to have over 700 services that will connect to their platform.

Keep in mind you will have to make a separate Zap or Applet for each machine. The automation is triggered of a file in a folder.
The Verdict -
If you have less than 5 machines that run a couple times a week stick with Zapier. It looks nice but the price is steep once you've outgrown the free version, unless you need their advanced feature.
If you have more than 5 machines or run them many times a day, go with IFTTT for the price it will get you the basics at a more reasonable price.
